Resize an image

There are three ways you can resize an image:

Using Auto_Fit. This will resize the image in proportion with the frame. 

  1. Select the frame
  2. If the Image panel is not already open, click Ã Image Settings
  3. Click Auto-Fit
  4. Drag the corner handles to resize the frame, with the image resizing in proportion.

Using the Frame Fitting options:

  1. Select the frame
  2. If the Image panel is not already open, click Ã Image Settings
  3. Choose one of the options from the Fitting drop-down.

Fit Proportionally will resize so the whole image fits inside the frame.

Fill Proportionally will resize the image so one axis fits completely inside the frame.

Fit Frame to Content will resize the frame so it is large enough to surround the whole image.

Using the Image Scaling value

  1. Select the frame
  2. If the Image panel is not already open, click Ã Image Settings
  3. Enter a value into the Image Scaling box, or use the up/down arrows.
